During the day everything works but around 10:30 pm no apps work with a message of not connectivity when I have excellent connectivity - very frustrating

It sounds like this happens every night? If so, I would check the router. Turning off internet access to specific devices on a schedule is a common feature. (Might be listed under parental controls.)
