I was watching TWC fine until about 30 minutes ago and the app froze, now I’m getting that exact same error (Failed to load app data, with the crying cloud) on both of my Roku TVs… Hopefully we get an answer on this soon.
I am having the same problem blue screen messages on three roku/tv set ups. Frustrated and hopeful...

I am not having a problem with weather4us. I am having a problem with The Weather Channel subscription I have through Roku. Three Roku/TV app failed to load data. Cannot just delete the app as it is a subscription. Was working earlier today.
Same issue here… cannot load app data. Restarted Roku, removed and reinstalled the WC app, no luck!

I had the same problem earlier today - had email exchange with Ruby Sharma <support@weathergroup.freshdesk.com>. When I returned home - everything worked fine. They had my email and phone number - perhaps that was enough.
I had the same problems many have reported. Not working. I checked daily for software updates. Weather4us had an update a couple days ago , and now it is working properly again. I guess someone figured it out. It took long enough.
