My Roku has started heating up also and is showing messages on the TV screen.  It is a Model No. 3920X  Serial number K430C2375049.  Help?

To resolve your overheating device issue, we would recommend starting with the suggestion available in this Support link: What to do if the red light is on or you see a “Your device is overheating” message. Let us know if there's any difference after!

hi, my smart tv came with roku, and for the past two week a red warning comes on the tv, that it's over heating. what can I do?

@rosepedal58, if this is a Roku TV you'll have to contact the manufacturer of the TV.

In addition to what @renojim has said, please be advised that each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS. We'd recommend reaching out to the TV manufacturer to report the issue and get help.

My roku devise won't stop over heating. Will I need to buy a new one?

Roku devices tend to go warm since it's always plugged in. We would recommend taking a look at our Support page for more information regarding this issue: What to do if the red light is on or you see a “Your device is overheating” message

If this problem is not resolved, please let us know, along with any additional information you may have that would be useful for our team to investigate. Please include the serial number of your Roku device so that we can assist you further.

SN k42186483765. tried to get an extended power adapter, but kept telling me the sn is incorrect.

Please advise how do I get a free power extender?
