My Roku operated just fine on my old TV but since switching to a Samsung 4K S90C Series TV, the streaming is glitchy off and on. When I switch to streaming the same thing directly on the TV, it plays smoothly. Any troubleshooting ideas?
Is it a stick that plugs directly into the TV without the need for an HDMI cable and/or a device that you're using the TV's USB port to power?
The Roku is connected directly to the TV via an HDMI cable. I tried replacing the cable to see if a bad cable was the problem, but that did not make a difference.
Thanks for keeping us posted, @JenW!
We understand that it did not resolve the issue. Have you tried rebooting your Roku device? If not, we recommend doing so to see if it fixes the issue.
To perform a reboot process on your Roku, you must try the steps below:
In either case, your Roku device will complete a system restart and hopefully return to normal operation after a moment.
Please let us know if that works for you so we can assist you further if the issue persists.
All the best,
Emman
I tried the system restart/reboot. This helps for a few hours and then the glitchy/skippy streaming starts again. Any other ideas?
I am having the same issue with no solution
