@road_rider, you won't be able to remote it on the device until the subscription period runs out. You might be able to remove it using the mobile app. Search for it and you should be given the option to launch it or remove it. Keep in mind that removing an app doesn't cancel any subscription you might have. Make sure you perform a "System restart" from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power after you remove it and before you install it again.

Well thanks but I don't use mobile apps and I'm only subscribed to Peacock for the current month to watch one event which is now being constantly interrupted by this bug. I have no use for the app after the subscription runs out. The point was to fix the problem while I'm using the app.
And Roku - this is disgraceful. Why isn't the capability to remove apps not available on the remote? That seems like a colossally stupid design decision. and is another reason why your remotes suck (no page up/down, no ability to enter channel numbers, voice control is useless).

If you have subscribed to premium channels through Roku, you won't be able to remove them from the Roku on-screen interface as long as your subscription is active. Your best option is to "manage the subscription" and cancel future payments. You can do this on my.roku.com or on your Roku streaming device.

If you rewind backwards a few minutes from live mode it gives you a buffer where it don't crash.
