When I try to open the Paramount plus app, it closes and takes me back to the home page. I cleared the cache and restarted my router and tv.
I was watching a show inside my house and decided to continue watching in my office while i worked, I click on the paramount icon, it opens for a moment before it goes black and goes back to my home scrParamount plus, onn tv, closing, roku tveen. i was watching it fine on paramount 20 yards away on my Samsung tv but as soon as i got to the office paramount wont work. My internet in fine as i am writing this and able to watch other shows on other networks. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app at the device, reset the network and reconnected and got nothing. It will let me open the paramount by roku if i commit to a 7day trial but i am not going to commit to something i already pay for. Is this the streamers way of once again leaving us no choice on what services to use? Are they wanting us to commit to one service because if that's the case, I will smash this Roku TV and buy a different one. I only purchased this one out of convenience. I refuse to be told which services i can use on which televisions and be steered into buying a particular brand for the sake of exclusivity. I own the rights to those products, i paid for the gas to retrieve it, the taxes required when i made the purchase, i pay for the electricity that powers it, and the internet that it uses.
Can anyone help me figure out what is going on with the app on the TV and why i cannot use it. Everything else is working fine, the connection is solid and i can watch paramount on ALL the other TV's in my house, except the Roku tv.
I am also having same problem. I only have Paramount thru the Roku TV. In the middle of watching a show last night, the screen went black. I can access my other subscriptions, no problem. Just now I tried Paramount again, all I get is the circling swirl. I have a week left on my free trial. Should I just cancel now, or wait and see if theirs some glitch on their end. Sounds like there is.
I am having the same problem now for about a week. I have tried updating the Paramount+ app and have also removed the app and reinstalled it as per the instructions listed here on Roku Community and all I get when I hit the Paramount+ app is a black screen for about 2 secs and then it goes back to the home screen. All the other apps work just fine. Please help

Paramount Plus app will not load on my Roku. (It works on my iPad….running on same WiFi).
I’ve tried all the steps recommended above….no change. Still won’t load.
