Re: No Sound Output Issue When Selecting Wireless Headphone on a Roku Ultra (4800 series)

"No Sound Output Issue When Selecting Wireless Headphone on a Roku"

It couldn't be more self-explanatory.

When I connect wireless headphones to my ROKU TV there is no sound emanating from the headphones.

The ROKU TV "headphones" symbol is on the TV and the headphones are listed as the connected audio output.

The headphones work with other devices.

Note this only happens SOMETIMES.  Often the problem can be "solved" by unplugging the TV for several minutes and restarting.  Thiis is a waste of time.   Sometimes the problem persists only to find the headphone audio just starts working again.

Hello @Bri

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community regarding the issue you are experiencing with connecting your Roku TV with wireless headphones.

What brand and model headphones are you using to connect to your Roku device that you are experiencing this issue with? For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried using another wireless headphone to see if the issue occurs as well?

Please keep us posted what you find out and we will be more than happy to continue assisting you. We look forward to hearing back your response.

Thanks,
Danny
