Hi @Tired,

We understand that you're having a problem with the Netflix channel. We're happy to help. Please follow these steps:

  • Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  • Restart your Roku device: Press home on your Roku remote, select settings, select system, and system restart.
  • Re-install the channel: Scroll down to search, put the name of the channel or app, highlight the channel, and select add the channel.

Sorry. Didn’t work. Video in selected title freezes for a few minutes at the beginning.

Hi this is Tony2213, just wondering did you do a system reset that was recommended because I am still having this problem.

We understand you're having the same problem with the Netflix channel. We're happy to help. Please try to update the channel by highlighting the channel tile, pressing the star button on your Roku remote, and selecting Check for updates.

Yes. As with every other troubleshooting step, it worked for a few days and then started glitching again.

Hi @Tired,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

You seem to have done tremendous troubleshooting. At this point, we may need to conduct an in-depth assessment. That being said, we will need more details to assess this concern.

  • Roku device or TV model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Does this issue occur on a specific channel? If so, what channel and what version or build is it? (This can be found by selecting the channel on the home screen and pressing the * button.)
  • Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).
  • How are you powering the Roku device?

Once more information has been gathered, we can pass it along to the appropriate support team to investigate further. We look forward to hearing back from you.
