Netflix crashes and playback errors

I have just purchased a TLC Roku tv. Netflix constantly crashes back to the home screen.  When I attempt to play a title, the app will crash back to the home screen. When I do get a title to play and try to pause playback, it will crash back to the home screen, or play only the close captioning without audio or video.  Sometimes I can rewind the title and restart playback and then the video and audio will play.


i have attempted to watch a title from my continue watching list and it crashed back to the home screen each time,


i have already removed and reinstalled the Netflix app.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your issue with Netflix. Did you try to perform a system restart before adding the channel back?

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System Restart.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted on what you find out.
