thanks, resetting seemed to have solved the problem, but anyway i upgraded to Express.
I unplugged and unplugged back in and that worked for me

I am having the same issues. Happening on different tv's at different times. Switched Roku from one to another and worked fine. Next day, same issue. Have been unplugging and replugging, usually works, however not always. In the meantime I had purchased a new Roku, thinking the other one was old. What is the solution? Reboot every day? Mine does not work with antenna tv either.
I upgraded to Roku Express. I think I get no 'buffering' and the picture seems clearer; in any case the picture and the sound are solid.
