I have a late model Samsung TV

Just upgraded my Roku stick to a Roku Streambar.

Everything works but the Streambar remote will not turn TV on and off. (My Roku Stick remote worked just fine)

What do I have to do (settings?) to get the Streambar remote to turn the Samsung TV on and off?

Update: Still doesn’t work

Set Samsung HDMI to enable AnyNet+ as recommended.

Still no work.

It used to be that you could only control the tv via cec, but some models don't  awaken from standby via cec, so they upgraded the menu in the Streambar to allow you to program the tv power by IR, not the volume. So go into:

settings> remote & devices> remote> remote in USE> program tv power> follow prompts

I found the Roku default had been set to InfraRed which DID NOT WORK.

Changed it to CEC and it now works fine,

Love the StreamBar… especially the MUCH clearer dialog.
