One setup for all of my Roku devices

Is there any way once you have your roku setup the way you want it, to have it propagate to all of the others?

@Alex29

By "linking" your Roku devices to the same Roku account (same email address) during setup and activation, all your channels and subscriptions are shared amongst the linked devices.

You will still have to arrange the channels/apps on the home screen of each device seperately and generally have to login to the subscriptions/channels/apps on a per device action also initially.

Once linked to the Roku account, removing or adding a channel/app from one Roku device will add or remove that channel/app from all linked Roku devices.

Individual settings and preferences (ie. home screen layout, closed captions, audio/video settings, etc) are device based, while subscriptions/channels/apps are account-based.

Re: One setup for all of my Roku devices

Hi @Alex29,

Thanks for the inquiry, and welcome to the Roku Community!

Each time you add an additional Roku streaming player or Roku TV, you need to set up the new device and link it to a Roku account. If you use your existing Roku account, any apps that you have added to a Roku device already linked to your account are downloaded and installed on the new device automatically. In addition, a feature called Automatic Account Link automatically signs you into any supported apps that you have already logged into on your existing Roku device.

  • Note: When an app doesn't support Automatic Account Link, you may be required to enter your username and password on the new Roku device.

You may also want to check out this support article here on how to set up or sync subscription channels in your account on a second Roku streaming device.

Please keep us posted if there's anything else that we can do to assist you.

Best regards,
John
