Having same problem. I’ll use the private listening on my phone but will sometimes go to bed and forget I’m still connected. My SO can’t figure out how to turn off the private listening via Roku on the tv. This seems like a surprising oversight. Is there a way to switch the audio back to the tv without having to access the phone that’s connected? Read through replies and seems like despite the OP explaining it clearly, Roku didn’t understand. Roku Ultra (4660, 4661, 4662 series)
Hi @Tmonmok,
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
We understand you're figuring out how to turn off private listening via the Roku mobile app. We'll be happy to help you. Please be advised that to activate (and deactivate) private listening on the mobile app, you can tap the headphones icon on the remote screen.
If you need further information, you can also check out this support article on how to resolve an issue with private listening.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.

No, that’s not what I’m asking. I know how to turn it off via the phone app. I want to know if it’s possible to turn it off via the Roku device on the tv. As I said, it’s for situations where I forget to disconnect the private listening on my phone app but then my husband wants to watch something and he’s unable to get the system to go back to the tv audio without having to get in touch with me.
