Roku mobile app

I'm dont have my remote with me and im using a friends. i cant connect my phone to the tv even with using the ip network, the device wont show up on the app, and im 100% on the same wifi. what do i do??

Here are some quick suggested fixes you might try:

• Reboot your Router. Start by unplugging it from the power source then plugging it back in to restart the connection from your Router to your Roku device. 
• Sign out and then sign back into the app. If the issue is still not resolved, try the next step below.
• Uninstall and then reinstall the app.
