I am yet another person whose voice remote pro mic has stopped working. Restarted the roku, repaired the remote. The mic on the remote has just stopped working.
And I don't have the message icon in order to send someone a message. Why do they make this so complicated

May we also know what specific Roku TV/player this remote is currently paired to? Also, is this the remote that came with it?
We also suggest resetting your Roku remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and try to utilize the voice command feature to see if this will make any difference.
Let us know how it goes and we'll go from there.

We had 2 remotes - voice command working great for years. Suddenly they both stopped a week or so ago. Ordered new remote - set it up this AM and it DOESN'T WORK EITHER!!! We tried everything many times HELP
when I press the voice button, it beeps twice - says Something went wrong

"hands free" has never worked because we have to use the "IR TV setup" - but the microphone button has worked on all remotes in the past - and as I noted, we just set up a brand new remote we bought from you all and the voice command doesn't work on it eit -- this is so FRUSTRATING!!

This is ridiculous.
It is a TCL roku TV. The voice remote I bought at best buy and has been connected to it for over a year with no issue. Now all of a sudden the voice portion doesn't work. It says it can't hear me. I have tried all the steps above with no solution. It's like the mic just gave out.
Every time I say “hey Roku” or use the microphone button on the remote, I get an error “something went wrong, try again later”. I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Restarting Roku, repairing the remote, charging the remote, reset my network, etc etc etc.
Any other ideas?
