My voice-activated remote stopped working. It still turns my TV on and off. It controls volume, but nothing else. The remote on the APP works just fine. Any suggestions?

I tried all recommendations on that site. None works.
I factory reset my Roku unit, and for about a minute I had full control with the remote. But then it went back to being non-responsive.

Thanks for the update and for the effort in resolving this.
We'd like to know if this is also the remote that came along with the device. Also, could share with us the serial number of the device where it's paired? This can usually be found at the back of the device or by navigating to Settings>>System>>About. We'd like to take a closer look.

Not the original remote - bought a few months ago from Walmart. Unit serial number ACA74A362881. Model 4630X

I think this is software related. I just rebooted everything, and factory reset the unit. On startup I am able to use the remote to select language and to enter network details. Then it displays a 'software update' message only for a second or two, and after that the remote no longer works.
Is there a way to delete the paired Voice Remote Pro ?
