I bought Roku Voice Remote Pro a few months ago (August) and it worked at first but suddenly stopped working three days ago (Sunday). During the morning it was fine but then in the afternoon it didn't. I can only see the swimming fishes screensaver.
I don't want to use my cellphone or tablet that's the reason why I bought a remote.
Is Roku scamming people? Does Roku want the public to constantly buy their products?
I am extremely disappointed and upset with Roku.
I believe Roku has a 1-year warranty on the remotes.
Hi Binge Watcher,
Would you know how I can find out?
Roku doesn't provide a phone number to contact them.
@anna_ace Typically Roku customer support monitors this community, but you can contact them as well on their support page, google Roku Customer support (links appear to be blocked right now due to lots of spam). You will be able to chat with them directly there.
You could also try re-pairing the remote and see if that fixes your issue.
I would also suggest unplugging your Roku device for 30 to 60 seconds and see it that resets it.
I've been searching through Roku's website since Sunday and I can't find any information on how to contact them.
They do this on purpose in order to avoid customers.
Unfortunately, that with someone who has frequently dealt with AMZ customer support, I totally understand, but it seems to be way all companies deal with issues these days. See below instructions on how to contact them directly.
If you need direct assistance from Roku’s customer support team, follow these steps:
Access the Contact Page:
Select Your Issue:
Follow the Prompts:
Request Assistance:
For non-urgent issues, you can contact Roku via email.
If you have the Roku mobile app installed on your smartphone, you can access support through the app.
Open the Roku App:
Access Help:
I bought this from Best Buy three months ago and not from Roku's website.
Unfortunately, I don't have the receipt.
