What are the channel shortcut buttons? I don't want to buy this remote if it has useless buttons that I would never use (like AppleTV).

Hi @kjlljk,
Thanks for the inquiry regarding our new Roku Voice Remote Pro.
All Roku remotes have shortcut buttons that are subject to change at any time. But currently, the Roku Voice Remote Pro is shipping with the following shortcut buttons: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Sling TV.
In the future, we are planning on introducing an Apple TV button to this remote, but it isn't yet shipping at the time of this post.
The great news about the new Roku Voice Remote Pro is that two user-programmable buttons exist to create your own shortcut buttons!
How do I create a personal shortcut?
To create a personal shortcut, follow the steps below.
- Issue a voice command with your Roku voice remote.
- Wait for the command to be executed.
- Press and hold a personal shortcut button until you hear the success tone.
Your voice command is now assigned to the personal shortcut button. Simply press and release the button any time you wish to issue the command.
-
Note: You can reassign personal shortcut buttons with the steps above as often as you like.
Common voice commands that can be programmed to personal shortcut buttons...
- Find a specific movie or show
“find Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”
“show me episodes of Silicon Valley”
"find The NeverEnding Story" - Search for your favorite actors or directors
“find all Halle Berry films”
“search for westerns with Clint Eastwood”
"show me films directed by Michael Bay" - Browse your favorite genres
“show me comedies”
“find thriller movies”
"look for kids TV shows" - Launch a streaming channel
“open Disney+”
“launch HBO Max”
"start Netflix"
"play Pandora" - Playback commands
"fast forward"
"rewind"
"pause"
"stop"
"resume"
"continue"
"skip"
"next"
"replay"
Read a more comprehensive overview of the types of voice commands you can use to interact with your Roku devices.

Re: Roku Voice Remote Pro shortcut buttons
All the real pictures show the new remote will have Apple tv+ discrete key, this is different from having an Apple tv key on your remote. It will take you directly to apple tv+ section that you have to subscribe to with monthly fee, its not free like the apple tv app is.

How can I order a Voice Remote Pro with programmable shortcut buttons? Will the mute button on this remote work with my Roku Ultra streamer?

Re: Roku Voice Remote Pro shortcut buttons
Awe, a shame but I suspected as much. If I order it via an importer it should work the same though, right?
