Does the Roku Ultra remote headphone jack support stereo audio?  Ours only gives us mono audio.   We have reached out to Roku support in Dec 2023, but have not received any response so far.

The original question was: "Does the headphone jack on the Roku Ultra remote support stereo audio?"

It's a yes or no question. The evasive and non specific answer given shows that the people from Roku answering questions either don't know exactly what they are talking about or don't even have the ability to look up technical info like this to answer the question. Saying that Roku recommends you use the provided headphones is an unacceptable response.

I'd also like to know the answer to this question, so somebody at Roku with the knowledge to answer it please reply. Roku customer support really needs to get it together because they can't even answer basic things like this.

The Roku remote offers stereo output.

If you aren't hearing stereo output, try the following:

• Ensure the headphone jack is fully inserted.
• Use the included headphone set, or a replacement that can be purchased here.
• Ensure your headphone set offers stereo compatibility. You should see two bands around the headphone jack if the set supports stereo, but check the manufacturer specs to be sure.

The Roku headphone gets stereo when plugged into our mobile phones, but only gets mono when plugging into the Roku remote.  The headphone jack is fully inserted.   We have tried other headphones as well, only gets mono when plugging into the Roku remote.  The problem seems to be with the Roku remote.
