My Roku remote keys are not working properly; actually it is the right key unless i press very hard for 1 minute.  I have bought the wrong remote 3 times. Please help.....Just read all the comments that sound the same as mine.  Right key only working with fingernail pressed firmly for 2 minutes.  It is frustrating that I gave up using Roku, Netflix and my Tablo.  Just need to know what is correct remote to buy!!

We need to know exactly what model number of Roku Stick you have. If it's a 3500 (purple case) or lower, no remote is available any longer. If it's numbered 3600 or higher, any Roku remote other than the Simple (IR) remote will work.

You can find the model number on the Settings/System/About menu screen, assuming you can access the menu with the remote. You can also find the model number on your Roku account web site (assuming you have not renamed your Roku and removed the model number). 

But if it's the purple case, you might as well decide you need a new Roku. The 3500 and older models are no longer supported and really don't work well anymore, assuming they work at all.

Reading...Model 3820RW - Streaming Stick 4K   Not sure what purple case is.

@Peggy1940, any of the current voice remotes will work.  The others won't.
