Hi all! I have a TCL Roku TV (about 3 years old if it helps) and I just purchased a surround sound system to go with it. Now when I use the remote that came with the sound system the TV will also be doing random things. I almost factory reset the TV while trying to set up the speakers. Is there a way to tell the TV to only pay attention to the actual Roku remote?
Sorry, but no. The Roku tv only has one code available, you can't switch it to different address. Probably same for your Stereo. You could buy a wifi voice remote, pair it to the Roku TV, then cover the front of the TV's IR sensor so it can't see the stereo IR commands. But still, you will be able to control the tv by Wifi.
