I just purchase a roku streaming stick 4k and I cannot talk with anyone from their support - Plus they want to charge me. I have only had this product for less than 24 hours and the volume control on the remote with a new VIZO TV does not work

@rnew Roku does not charge for support. If you contacted someone that is requiring payment, you did not contact Roku. There a scammers out there that claim to be Roku, and try to get you to provide a credit card for support. All they want to do is steal your CC information, and are also hoping to convince you to provide your Roku account password.
Do not do a web search for Roku support. That is how the scammers try to get your to contact them. Only use the official Roku.com web site and use the chat function to reach support. You can also post your questions here, although this isn't technically a support forum.
