Roku Ultra setup detects TV as Toshiba. Also tried Hisense. TCL. None will control power. Anybody figured this out?
Try changing the brand to Amazon, it may not show so you'll have to search A M A before it shows Amazon Fire Tv.
Good idea, but didn't work. Thanks anyway.
I am unable to control my Sony Bravia since the Roku updated yesterday.
Hisense doesn't have to use the same code as other Fire tv's, so try codes under LG and RCA.
Good idea, but neither worked. Thanks.
Hi, @manerack
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.
We understand your concern with your Roku remote that does not control a Hisense Fire TV.
As advised by our Community Streaming Expert, @Tivoburkee in this thread. A Roku remote is programmed differently from a Hisense Fire TV, considering that both are developed by different streaming platforms.
We hope this clarifies your concern, and let us know if you have further concerns or inquiries.
Thanks,
Kash
