Re: Right arrow button not working.

Thanks for responding, @Ozymandias2000.

I have also validated that your Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ is no longer under warranty. When did you start experiencing the right arrow button on your remote not working? Have you observed this happening even the first time you used it?

Nevertheless, you may visit our website for our available offers here: Roku Accessories

I hope you find this information helpful.

Best regards,
Carly

Re: Directional Pad button issues

We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community, @jrsjrs1!

Thank you for reporting this to us. We understand that you're having issues with the right arrow button on your Roku remote and we're here to help you find the best resolution possible.

Please provide the following details so we can better assess your concern and provide you with an accurate resolution.

  • When did you start experiencing the right arrow button on your remote not working? Have you observed this happening even the first time you used it?
  • Do you have to press it really hard to work or is it not working at all?
  • Is the the remote that came with your Roku devices? If not, what specific remote is this?
  • Serial number of the Roku devices this remote is currently paired to.

In the meantime, you may try to troubleshoot your remote. Follow the steps provided below:

Reboot your Roku remote:

If your voice remote uses standard AA or AAA alkaline batteries, use the following steps to reboot your remote by removing and reinstalling the batteries.

  1. Remove the battery cover on the back of your remote
  2. Remove both batteries from the battery compartment
  3. Re-insert the negative (-) end of a battery first and then gently push the positive (+) end until the battery clicks into place
  4. Repeat the previous step to install the second battery
  5. Put the battery cover back on your remote

If your voice remote has a rechargeable battery, follow the steps below below to reboot your remote

  • If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
  • If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds.

We'll be looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Carly

Re: Right arrow button not working.

Hi Carly,

The button started to give problems about a year ago, Needing more and more pressure for the right arrow button to work, then about 3 or 4 weeks ago or stopped working altogether.
