I've got a Roku streaming stick+ (model 3810X) that won't pair with its remote.
I am powering the device via an external USB power source (not through my TV's USB port). I turn the device and TV on. During the purple boot sequence, I insert batteries into the remote. The remote's green LED immediately begins blinking--even before I press the tiny button on the back. However, the remote and stick do not pair. In fact, the stick completes booting and prompts me to "pair my remote" by removing the cover and pressing the black button.
I am following up as Kariza asked.
