It's unlikely. For some reason this just doesn't fit into their business plan.
Having just purchased my Roku, I have not learned the location yet for all the buttons, and use long distance glasses to watch TV. It is very frustrating to change glasses and fumble for the right buttons due to NO back lit buttons! Every remote I have had for decades has been back lit. Who in your organization thinks that this is a good business plan? I already regret my purchase.

Yes, they finally made one version. Idk what's up w/Roku & their outdated technology. Although they did make a remote w/backlit buttons, it isn't a version that is an adequate replacement for all their remotes. We have a Roku Ultra which was purchased because it had the Voice Remote Pro. That remote has 2 programmable buttons and a headphone jack. Why not just make one that is backlit? No, instead they made a new "Pro" version that has taken away both of those features. It no longer has a headphone jack, and it no longer has 2 programmable buttons. Why? I don't understand their complete inability to simply add backlighting to their remotes.
I ended up ordering a new one from Roku and had to pay extra for it. But it is backlit. they took away the jack for headphones, but I never used that anyway, as I use Bluetooth ones. There is a voice control physical turn off switch so it is easy to not get overheard. A few app button changes too. Bottom line I am happy with it. Thanks for all the input.....
