My 4K express freezes up multipe times each evening with the green light by batteries going solid green until I remove batteries. It will work properly after that until it freezes again

3226001079 is the serial number. We bought this a year and a half ago, bcus we wanted the voice functionality.
we are regretting it now. I think we should have stayed with the older model.
we love Roku but rare really besito reccomend it now.

Please provide the serial number of the Roku device that is paired with your remote. It is 12 alphanumeric characters and can be located at the back of the device itself.

so we’ll be watching tv and when we attempt to change the channel, there is no response from the remote. It’s unpaired. BUT, the volume button still works.
when I remove the battery cover, there’s a green light on. I remove one battery and immediately put it back in. Then the remote begins to function. It’s paired again.
We’ve only owned this remote for 18 months all of our other roku remotes function properly and they are much older
