the remote does not respond as it should. when I try to type in a request...it does not stop where I ask, it continues back and forth and stops wherever it does...cannot use the tv for that reason. What needs to be done to get it to stop where I request...

Assuming this is a Roku TV, unplug the power to the TV for a few seconds and plug it back in.
