Update: Problem solved. The TV did not have the HDMI port that Roku streaming stick was attached set up for CEI. The CEI was set for the main receiver HDMI port only so Roku was playing through the receiver HDMI to the TV and not the Roku HDMI. Once the TV recognized the Roku in the receiver HDMI location, everything worked. As a side note, I play my TV volume through my receiver (surround sound controls) so the Roku sound output is controlled by the receiver which means I use a different remote other than the Roku for sound control.
