I’ve had this remote for about three months, and last night it stopped controlling the power button and volume. I followed the troubleshooting steps on the support site, but it continues to do the same thing. I have tried pairing it numerous times and the music stays playing every time. Any recommendations?
I have same issue! I’ve had my ROKU for several years hooked to the TV through a Receiver HDMI. It has worked fine controlling the TV power. Suddenly it stopped. All the remote functions work once I manually turn the TV and receiver on. But I again have to turn each off manually where previously(last week) by turning the Roku off on the remote, everything powered off. I tried batteries, the CEI function, resetting, repairing, everything. CEI pairing for power doesn’t stop the music at at point. Again, everything has been fine for years. Did note a very recent software update????

Hi there @RokuTakashi! Thanks for the response. I have already followed these steps, and nothing worked.
Likewise, I’m experimenting with various combinations of remotes and Roku sticks and different TV’s.

Let's try resetting the Roku remote this time to see any improvements. Follow the steps below:
Restart your Roku remote
Initiate Pairing Mode
Once this has been performed, you can check the Roku remote's Power and Volume control function, or try to set it up for control again.
