If I were to pair my v1 Voice Remote Pro with the Ultra 2024, would I be able to use the headphone jack in the remote?
I understand that I can use Bluetooth headphones with the 2024 via the app but I do not want yet another device I have to keep charged, and I have read that the app does not work on public WiFi, like in a hotel.
The headphone jack in the remote was the main reason I chose Roku.
Hi @TSG1,
Thank you for replying! We understand that using your phone apps or navigating with the Roku mobile app may still be possible, but it may not fully meet all your needs.
The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition) doesn't have a headphone jack. However, the Roku mobile app can be a good alternative. The Roku Mobile App headphone mode lets you connect your Bluetooth headphones and immerse yourself in a solo streaming session.
To address your concern, you may consider the Roku Voice Remote Pro, which has a headphone jack and a rechargeable remote that works with any available (wired) headphones and is compatible with our new Roku Ultra.
We genuinely hope this information helps. Please feel free to ask if you need further clarification or assistance.
Thanks,
Jharra
Yes, the v1 Roku Pro remote with headphone jack would work on the newer 2024 Ultra.
Thank you for the quick reply. But to be specific, will the headphone jack work in that configuration?
Yes, I mean the headphone jack on the old remote will work with newer Ultra, not just controlling it.
