I bought a Roku voice remote pro from Amazon in July 2021. A month ago it stopped working. I charged it to 100% but now works ONLY when it's connected via the cable to usb port or the charging cord to an electrical outlet. When connected, the pairing light comes on. But when not connected, the pairing light will not come on. I've disconnected the Roku unit from the power cord, waited a minute & reconnected & retried remote pairing...no luck.
Tried to initiate a warranty claim but I can't get any further as it requires a serial number, but the remote has none.
I am beyond frustrated. HELP!
Try using the serial number on the Roku device you've been using with the remote to see if you can get further with the online claim.
I tried my TV serial no. But it said my device wasn't eligible which the TV isn't..didn't seem to determine for the remote.
Maybe @RokuDanny-R or @RokuKariza-D can help.
Isn't the serial number underneath the battery compartment cover on the remote?

@DBDukes, umm... there is no battery cover on a rechargeable remote. 🙂

Hi @RokuMary-F ;
I had the same problem with a Voice Remote Pro purchased on Amazon on August 14, 2021. Do remotes have a 1 year warranty? How do we initiate a warranty claim?
Thank you.
