I normally watch Spectrum cable through Roku to watch television. A few days ago, I must have entered some button sequence on my Roku remote and am now getting a strange behavior. When I power up, I get a mechanical woman’s voice reading my network selection to me. Then, when I change channels, she comes on and says “Loading” then proceeds to tell me about the program coming on and other information relating to it. I looked for a way to cancel her but have come up short. Help!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. No worries; we're here to help.

You may have enabled the screen reader feature via a remote shortcut button. Tap the star * button on your Roku remote four times to turn the Screen Reader off. You can also customize your screen reader experience by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and select Screen Reader.
