Defective remote control. Changed batteries twice now in 3 to 4 weeks

I have a roku 4k max and I have changed the batteries twice now in just 3 to 4 weeks. I have called customer support but no answer. I googled the issue and found an article here that says there was a replacement remote control that is rechargeable. I hope the customer service people read this.

Is this the original remote that came with the device? Also, kindly share the model number of the remote, this can usually be found at the back of the battery compartment.
