Brand new Roku Voice Remote Pro - tried charging it right out of the box. First several times I got a rapid flashing green light that would go out after 2-3 minutes. Out of desperation I tried to pair it with my Roku TV. It seemed to connect but then said I had zero battery. I plugged it back in and now I'm getting a green light that slowly grows in intensity. So it now appears to be charging. What do I need to know in the future so I can charge. I've messed around with this thing for 90 minutes and I've apparently got it charging but I'm sure I won't be able to repeat this in the future. Is my remote broken or do I need to learn the secret handshake or what? Help!?

I have found that some of my USB micro cables fit firmly in the Voice Remote Pro charging port and charge the remote reliably. I have some others that are a bit wobbly in the port and have to be wiggled to the right position to charge, but any small movement may cause the charge to stop.
