My brand new Roku voice remote stopped working (at all) after 24 hours. Did the reboot on TV and with the batteries. Pairing light blinked, then stopped...and nothing. It worked flawlessly for the first day.
Went thru the steps listed in the help link, as well.

We'd like to know more about this so kindly let us know the following:
In the meantime, kindly try to press and hold the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds to reset it. After doing so, pair it again to see if this will make any difference.
You can also install the Roku Mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote as we work on fixing your Roku Voice Remote. It works well with all of Roku's streaming players and has a private listening feature.

I have a Roku Streaming Stick + HD|4K|HDR (Oct 2020).
We have an LG flat screen TV (older).
Our recent Roku Remote was purchased separately after the old one stopped working. This is our 3rd remote (first one came with the stick).
I tried to reset as you instructed...no luck. Light blinks about 6 times, then nothing.
We are hobbling through with the smart phone app, but it is not optimal.

Furthermore, may we also know where you purchased your Roku Voice remote? We suggest returning it and requesting a replacement, as this could be a hardware malfunction.
