NO OPTIONS FOR SELECTING TV BY BRAND

The problem is defective equipment that Roku sells to consumers. I have fully described everything and you are just taking wild guesses at solutions and it is infuriating. I have told you that after plugging the remote to the charger for a few hours it starts to work again, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FULLY CHARGED TO BEGIN WITH!!!!

If you want to help stop making junk remotes.

I am having the same problem. The remote is taking a charge so it’s not a battery issue. But the unit will not pair with box for mode than a single command. Then I have to hit the pairing button again. My old Samsung TV  remote pairs with no problem.

And Roku does nothing to help. They just keep asking pointless questions that go round and round with no real solutions.

Same issue.  I think Roku had a fix and then I went to recharge my batteries and now thenIR problem is back.  If Roku is listening, here is my info:

I am having the ecsct dame problem. Rechargeable remote. Vizio TV.  FYI battery operated remote no problem. Clearly a problem with rechargeable remote.
