Same issue, I've tried every fix posted on this forum. Incredibly frustrating how ROKU can just completely kill a perfectly fine TV on a whim. This is insane to me and I will be posting everywhere I can online to NEVER purchase a roku tv! Absolute junk, and frankly criminal in my opinion.
And I can't even get to the settings screen to give the info the mods are asking for. All I can provide is the serial number. Let me know if that is helpful
TCL roku TV worked great for a few years and then received an update that has bricked the device. Now when I turn it on, it gets stuck on the "Let's Get Started" language selection screen. This TV has no physical buttons so it is completely dependent on the remote. I've searched through this forum and tried every "fix" offered related to both the TV and the remote.
This is incredibly frustrating that a botched software update can completely kill my TV that was otherwise in fine working order. The perils of everything being connected to the internet....
Searching across this forum, reddit, etc, it's easy to see that this is a widespread problem.
Please help if possible.

It's a bloody miracle!! On a whim, thought I'd give it another try this morning. Held the power button down for 20 seconds, plugged it in then went through the wi-fi set up and it software load and it took! Back in business baby. I don't know if the engineers found a fix or I was just given a blessing today. Don't give up folks.
Tried using a FAT32 formatted 2gb USB drive as per website instructions, tried wireless updating several times, still stuck in a boot loop for the last couple of days.

Hi,
I have a 24" Westinghouse Roku TV that after a software update about a month ago would go into a continue boot sequence and would never allow you to get to a menu to run any apps or use the TV.
I used the factory reset button to reset the TV according to directions I found on the Roku site. After that the following happened:
1. TV Displayed a Roku icon for a few seconds.
2. TV shows recovery mode where you connect it to a network. This was successful.
3. TV shows recovery mode, downloads an update and completes.
4. TV displays restarting.
5. TV displays the Roku icon
6. Goes back to step 3.
The TV will repeat steps 3 through 6 for hours on end. It never stops, you can never use the TV. I have used the reset button multiple times and the outcome is always the same. I have also tried to download and update the TV via USB and the outcome is the same. At this point this six month old TV is a brick.
Please provide a fix or an RMA, I wish to return the TV. And to think, I just recently purchased a 55" Roku TV and I'm not optimistic about it.
I'd like to add the TV details:
Serial number: X02000GL16LK
Device ID: S0RKJ3DL16LK
Roku TV: HE01X
Westinghouse Model: WR24HX2210
