Re: Soundbar talks after turning off TV

Jump to solution

Oh, the OP says 9102 which is a Roku Streambar.  So, there are two Rokus connected together here?  So perhaps it’s as simple as turning off the screen reader on the other Roku.

Banned but back. Because why not?

Aha! That's the information I needed. I missed they included the model number in the original post, good catch. So that's the problem. It's the Voice Guide on the Streambar, not the TV itself, that needs to be disabled.

There's nothing wrong with using a Roku player on a Roku TV. I did that when I was on a job detail to DC, when I brought an Ultra with me but hated the hotel TV so bad I bought a Sharp Roku TV for my room. The hard part is remembering which remote is which, and that might be the issue here. 🙂
