Post the info on the recovery screen here and ROKU after several days will put out fix for your device. It could take 1-2 weeks since they fix them 1 at a time. Worst roll out of update I've ever seen. Perpetual failure all year long keeping the help desk employed. The developers if smart will never put ROKU software developer on their resumes!
Same problem as everyone else here, have tried all the suggestions including running recovery in french. Plugged in wall, reset buttons does nothing, etc

I have the exact same issue on the Roku Sound bar; exact same model as many describe. The system requires language selection, wifi connectivity and goes to update progress only to return to step 1.
That is not true. I posted info at least 3 months ago and I still have a useless Roku streambrick. Don't waste your time. A class action lawsuite (misspelled intentionally since it wouldn't post if I used the correct spelling lol) would be great though.
Took couple weeks for them to fix my bar, not months. Now my wife is having issues with a ROKU stick failed update. Very poor testing protocols leading up to it's release on users in the wild! How not to do software development for dummies @ ROKU!

@RokuRiamie-D Thank you for forwarding the information to the dedicated support team, but judging by the ever-growing number of pages in this thread alone (14 at last glance and dating back 5 months, to May 24, 2024) this problem is widespread and most of the customers are still without a working streambar. Roku should be offering a replacement if they are unable to fix WHAT THEY BROKE. These units weren't cheap dollar-wise.
