The Roku #Streambar SE will not complete setup.  It hangs at the option to choose language and will not move from the "English" choice, then a message appears to plug it into HDMI ARC.  It is plugged into HDMI#2 because HDMI#1 is connected to Spectrum and will not operate off any other HDMI port
I'm setting this up so my 97 year old mom can hear the TV better; may end up sending it back and just having the ROKU TV turned up to 30.

I’m curious why Spectrum demands to be in the HDMI ARC port?  Is it built into a sound bar also?

Which remote are you using to drive the Streambar?  I think there is probably potential for confusion when you have multiple Roku products with similar remotes.

The Streambar SE comes with an IR only remote, so it should just work out of the box. Unless the pictures or something in front of the streambar se preventing it from receiving IR commands.
