The Tracker ID key sequence (Home x5 Back x5) does not work on my Roku 3 4200X
Serial Number is 1GU44G110762
Device Model is Roku-3
Device ID 4200X
Software Version is unknown as it has been factory reset and needs to download new software. The download is not working (Error 003), this is the actual problem.

Is thee a way to update roku os offline (with usb..etc)
the issue is most probably about reaching to update servers and activation servers. Because both wifi and ethernet seems working…and network check seems ok.
Great question! @Deonology.
Please keep in mind that only Roku TVs are capable of updating their software offline due to their support for USB connectivity. With this being said, this feature is not accessible for bypassing the update problem on your Roku 3, which is a streaming device by Roku.
We hope that clarifies things for you.
All the best,
Emman
