Thanks! I should mention I opened a similar line of investigation with Amazon support and they provided me with steps that included uninstalling Alexa app, powering down/up iPhone, re-installing Alexa app. Then I proceeded to try installing the Roku skill and this time it linked to my Roku account. I even received an email from Roku confirming the fact.
That being said, the whole effort seemed a tad underwhelming, as yes, it added a new device to my list on the Alexa app for Roku, but it only has a "Power On/Off" feature. And the odd issue... pressing it doesn't seem to affect the Roku device. It stays on even if Alexa shows it as "Off".
I know Alexa isn't a Roku app, but do you have any advice on its usefulness? I somehow expected... more? Or maybe the usefulness is hidden in Alexa voice commands?
