I have several Roku devices. I was using an old Roku express on my LG UHD which has been working fine except it did not have a volume button which is annoying. So, I bought the express 4k+ to replace it since it has that feature, but it magnifies the picture on the tv. I’ve tried the four choices Roku provides. 720, 1080, 4K, and 4KUHD. The picture is magnified for all choices. I tried changing the aspect ratio on the tv with no luck. I assume it’s a bug with that Roku model and there is no fix for it. Also disappointing that Roku offers no support. I assume the only choice is to return it.
Hi @Jadde,
A warm welcome to the Roku Community!
We appreciate you letting us know about the picture size you see on your device and the steps you took to resolve the issue. We'd like to take action on this, but we need more details to see if there are any options we can investigate further.
Refer to these questions to better identify the issue you're experiencing:
For troubleshooting purposes, we recommend clicking the button on the TV remote that says "aspect" on it, and it interchanged through the settings cinema, normal, wide, zoom, etc. Then choose normal.
If this doesn't help, send us a screenshot of the display on your TV and the serial number of the affected Roku device.
All the best,
Chel
