Roku device breaks / slows down after 3 months

After buying a new Premier Roku. After 3 months it has slowed and becomes unresponsive and needs to regularly be reset. Junk!

I have an old one at my other house that has worked consistently for almost 10 years.

We see that your Roku Premier has become very slow after a few months of use, and we'd like to help. 

Have you tried making sure that the device is up to date? Here's how to check for an update.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

If the issue still persists after the update, please let us know so we can explore more troubleshooting steps!
