I do not have wifi, I just want to use the tv for screen mirroring.
Thanks, Colin
Thanks for the extra details!
I just wanted to dig in more, based on your statement that you don't have the option for screen mirroring on your Roku TV, right?
Or you're able to access the feature, but it's not visible on your mobile device.
Please keep us posted!
Thanks,
Rey

Hello,
I have been waiting 2 weeks for a reply. Can you please at least tell me if my model of tv should have the Screen Mirroring option under system? Also does my model.work with a Samsung s20 fe? Can I Screen Mirror without wifi? I would like the problem addressed soon.
Thanks,
Colin
A few things:
1) All RokuOS devices support screen mirroring (Miracast) and should have a Settings/System/Screen Mirroring menu option.
2) However, there is a longstanding known issue that happens with some brand/model RokuOS TVs that results in the Screen Mirroring menu option (and functionality) missing.
3) You never mentioned whether you attempted a Factory Reset (Settings/System/Advanced System Settings/Factory Reset) - considering the missing Screen Mirroring menu item, you should try this at least once to see if that resolves it (Roku CS will require it anyway)
4) I notice your RokuOS version is 12.5.0-4176 - OS12.5.5-4174 has been out for 2 months now, you may want to manually check (Settings/System/Software Update/Check now) or check again to see if there is a new USB firmware image (with OS12.5.5).
5) Connection to WiFi (modem/router/gateway) is not required for Miracast ("Screen Mirroring") as it uses WiFi Direct (a direct peer to peer connection between the two devices) to establish the connection, and your case continue it.
6) The issue isn't WiFi or the lack of it - the issue is likely either a corrupted/missing Miracast middleware module (RokuCast 2.0.3) in RokuOS, a bad firmware install, or a firmware bug in that particular model's firmware - either way you need to push Roku on this (after you try a Factory Reset at least once).
