can I connect NON roku bluetooth speaker to streambar and play main TV sound (not surround sound).
I have tv on covered back porch and want to connect waterproof bluetooth speakers to streambar to play main TV sound and also if connect phone/alexa to streambar to play the same sound as coming from the sound bar. These will be less than 30 ft but hard to hear TV volume over hot tub jets.

Thank you Ray. Just one other clarification. You confirmed what I wanted to do but the link you posted is about connecting a phone and it also says that you cannot connect things such as Bluetooth headphones which is basically the same as Bluetooth speakers.

Only Roku wireless speakers will connect to a Roku tv via Bluetooth.

Roku's do not connect to Bluetooth Speakers of any kind. Phones, tablets, and headphones yes. No speakers. The Streambar can only connect to Roku branded devices, and never be Bluetooth. It uses Wifi-Direct.

Ok so let me get this straight you cannot hook up any other brand o wireless speaker to a Roku device.

That is unfortunate. I wonder/guess that you could do the same thing directly from your TV and bypass the streambar in order to use more/better speakers?
