Windows 10 PC connection to 50" Philips Roku TV

Windows is finding Roku Premiere+ 567 instead of  50" Philips Roku TV.

I don't have the Roku Premiere+ 567. I was able to connect to 50" Philips Roku TV once but now windows connections show the Roku Premiere+ 567.

The 50" Philips Roku TV does show in the Windows Other Devices but will not connect.

I am in a condo apartment building.

Re: Windows 10 PC connection to 50" Philips Roku TV

So today inexplicably the correct name shows up and and it connects seamlessly.  I am baffled. The other named device roku 574+ also showed in the list but has now disappeared. Correct name appears in device manager now

Re: Windows 10 PC connection to 50" Philips Roku TV

Thanks for the updates, @Mexbuzzard

For this matter, we recommend ensuring that the Roku TV and your Windows device are connected to the same network. After ensuring this step, perform a system restart on your Roku TV for optimal usage after its reboot. Follow the steps below.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Once you have performed all of the recommended steps, please check to see if you can see the correct Roku TV name upon the screen mirror attempt.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to assist further.

Best wishes,
Kash

Re: Windows 10 PC connection to 50" Philips Roku TV

This  "seems" to work. Went into Control Panel; Hardware and Sound ; Devices and Printers; Add a Device; allow search; finds 50" PHILIPS Roku TV; selected this which installed drivers. Open the device properties under hardware and there are 2 entries. Software  devices and Miracast display device.  Now the 50" PHILIPS Roku TV name appears in Action Center Connect and the device connects.

Lets see if this holds out

Disappeared again on the W10 laptop. I had to replace the old laptop anyway and now it seems work flawlessly on W11 laptop.  I suspect it was the miracast drivers.
