My Roku Tv keeps turning on and off without pushing any buttons and I tried resetting but when it turns on it keeps scrolling again without pushing any buttons.
Does it happen if you take the batteries out of the remote?
I have the same issue - only stops when I remove the batteries from the Roku remote.
This issue started when I replaced the batteries in the remote. I have unplugged the unit, reset the Roku box. Nothing works and although I have reviewed many-many other users with this issue posting in the community, I have yet to see a resolution!?
@KP360, it sounds like you have a stuck button on the remote. You can try taking it apart to clean it, get a new remote, or use the mobile app as a remote.

So, you are suggesting that putting in fresh batteries causes the buttons to stick?
ridiculous
@KP360, that's not what I'm suggesting at all. I'm simply trying to do the simplest of troubleshooting. If you're not willing to do that, I'm not sure why you're asking for help here. Try your luck with https://support.roku.com/contactus . Ridiculous? Yes you are!
I have read many-many customer posts with this same issue going back several years. You Are either not trained, or you are aware of what is wrong with your remote control devices (they fail) and are instructed not to share this with customers. Either way - your unprofessional response, and lack of a solution are not going to keep people buying your stuff.

This behavior begins as soon as the device is powered up. It also interferes with the TV remote. Only stops when I remove the batteries from the ROKU remote.
The remote mobile app works fine.
Hi @KP360,
Thank you for the additional information!
We appreciate your cooperation toward this issue that you're having with the Roku remote skipping on tiles. Do you have other Roku remote remotes that you can pair to the Roku device and see if the issue still persists?
We'll wait for your response.
Thanks,
John
