Roku TV logging out, not setting up

I have a Roku TV that’s been working fine for a few months. A few days ago, it decided to log out of my Roku account and act as a new TV. I set it up again fine, but now it’s logged itself out again. When I went through the setup process again, it got stuck on “Channel Update 1 of 47” and doesn’t load from there.

Thanks for informing us about the issue with your Roku TV. You mentioned that the Roku TV is stuck in a software update.

We would recommend continuing to try to keep checking for an update to see if the device will install the latest update. You may also try connecting to an alternate wireless network to install the update, then when successful switch back to the Home network.
